My vocation began in childhood. My sister suffered burns that left scars, and during her treatment I saw firsthand the work of plastic surgeons with burned children. That is when I decided this would be my path.
Getting here took years of study and perseverance: medical school, then a demanding residency in plastic surgery. Every effort was worth it.

Rhinoplasty is the doctor’s primary subspecialty; 80% of her surgical volume is focused on nasal surgery. She is a pioneer in Colombia in applying ultrasonic (piezoelectric) technology to rhinoplasty and a reference in high-complexity rhinoplasty: mestizo noses, Caribbean noses with thick skin, and secondary, tertiary, or revision rhinoplasty cases.
