Brow Lift in Barranquilla
A brow lift raises the upper third of the face when the brow droops and the eyes look tired or sad. It opens up the eyes and restores a rested look, with a natural result.

What is a brow lift?
A brow lift is the procedure that corrects drooping of the brow and forehead. Over the years, the brow descends and presses on the eyelid: the eyes look tired, heavy or angry even when you are not.
By repositioning the brow at its natural height, the eyes open up, the forehead relaxes and the face looks more rested. Depending on the case, it is done with a surgical technique —through incisions hidden in the scalp— or, in mild cases, with technology and botulinum toxin without surgery.
The goal is not to leave you looking surprised: it is to return the brow to where it used to be, so your eyes look fresh again.
Benefits of a brow lift
Open eyes
The brow returns to its height and the eye no longer looks covered.
Rested look
The appearance of tiredness or involuntary anger is corrected.
Hidden scar
The incisions are concealed in the scalp.
With or without surgery
Depending on the degree of drooping, there is a surgical option or a technology-based one.

A brow lift repositions the tissues to open up the eyes and soften the look of tiredness, achieving a subtle, elegant rejuvenation.
The surgeon behind your brow lift
I am Dr. Eliana Garcés, a plastic surgeon in Barranquilla. I see aesthetics as an investment in well-being: surgery and regenerative medicine work together to achieve real, long-lasting results.
In the upper third of the face, the balance is delicate: a few millimeters too many and the eyes look artificial. My work aims to raise the brow just enough to open the eye, without erasing your expression.
Before proposing surgery, I assess whether technology or botulinum toxin can give you a good result. When the drooping is real, surgery is the honest path; when it is not, I tell you.

What the brow lift process looks like
Consultation
Analysis of the height of the brow, the forehead, the eyelid and your expectations. This is where we define whether surgery or technology is the better option.
Preparation
Complete pre-surgical tests and, when appropriate, a prior regenerative plan so you arrive in the best possible condition.
Procedure
Repositioning of the brow through hidden incisions, or elevation with technology and toxin in mild cases. Always with a conservative approach.
Follow-up
Post-operative check-ups and technology to care for scar healing until the final result.
Raising the brow without a surprised look
The biggest fear of anyone having their brows lifted is ending up with a permanently astonished expression. That result happens when the brow is raised too much or only one point is worked on.
My approach starts from your natural brow height, the one you had years ago. I reposition it with measure, taking care of the symmetry between both sides, so that the eyes look open and rested, never fabricated.
Who is a good candidate for a brow lift

Not everyone who wants surgery is a candidate, and not every consultation ends in surgery.
You are a good candidate if your brow has dropped, your eyes look tired or your eyelid feels heavy, with realistic expectations and health that allows the procedure. If the drooping is mild, botulinum toxin or Regenera technology will likely give you a good result without surgery.
When the descent is pronounced, surgery is the stable option. We define that difference together in the consultation.
